About the Role
Man Truck & Bus JHB, part of the Motus Corporation, is seeking a dedicated Cashier to join their commercial retail team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This permanent position reports to the Finance Manager and is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and prior cashier experience. The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial transactions, supporting customer invoicing, and maintaining proper financial records while upholding excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Man Truck & Bus, your duties will include:

• Processing invoices, receipts, and banking transactions accurately
• Handling customer invoicing and ensuring all receipts tally for banking purposes
• Recording daily receipts and preparing sundry reports for the Finance Manager
• Managing general cashier administration and filing documentation efficiently
• Conducting ad hoc administrative duties as required
• Ensuring compliance with KYC and other internal financial policies
• Preparing and processing daily bank statements, credit card transactions, and internet receipts

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification
• Clear credit and criminal record
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation and team collaboration abilities
• Computer literacy; knowledge of Kerridge and Microsoft Excel is advantageous
• Previous cashier experience will be considered a strong advantage
