Anele Mdoda Unveiled As the SAFTAS19 Host. When it comes to hosting major events, Anele Mdoda is definitely the go to personality. Just this week, she bagged herself two hosting gigs, making everyone around her proud. The first gig she bagged is The Magical Marble Family Fest, where she will be the Fairy Godmother to the festival explorers which is billed for May.
The multi-award winning media personality and producer is also set to host the South African Film and Television Awards. Working alongside Anele as co-host will be TV personality and content creator, Sipho Aphi Mkhwanazi. The red carpet is the talented Pamela Mtanga, who will bring viewers all the glitz and glamour live. Her co-host is none other than TV personality and actor Katleho Kat Sinivasan.
The SAFTAs19 will take place on the 14th of March 2026 from 20:00, and will be broadcast live on SABC2 and Mzansi Magic.
