Thapelo Mokoena Bags A Cool Event Hosting Gig. Congratulations are in order for Thapelo Mokoena, who is shinning with a new hosting gig. The seasoned actor, filmmaker and entrepreneur has just been announced as the MultiChoice Talent Factory Day 2026 host.
The TF Day (MultiChoice Talent Factory Day) 2026 celebrates African storytelling and nurturing the next generation of filmmakers. It features masterclasses, panel discussions, and networking, focusing on “feeling the frame” and empowering creative professionals in the industry. The event will take place on Thursday 5th of March 2026 at the Joburg Film Festival.
Ayanda Sithebe, who is a casting director and founder of Actor Spaces, will be the masterclass facilitator at the event. The panelists on the day includes industry experts like Tebogo Matlawa, Waldimar Pelser, Shirley Adonisi and Tracy-Ann Van Rooyen.
