Clicks Group, a leading retail pharmacy chain in South Africa, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist Assistant to join their Kameeldoring Plein branch in the Northern Cape. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality customer service and pharmaceutical care
- Manage stock efficiently, including repacking and inventory control
- Perform accurate dispensary administration and compounding tasks
- Provide general health advice to customers within scope of practice
- Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and professional merchandise displays
- Support operational requirements with ad hoc tasks as needed
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric certificate with Mathematics (essential)
- Compliance with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) requirements for Pharmacist Assistants at various levels: Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic
- Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is advantageous but not essential
Skills and Attributes
- Strong product knowledge, including over-the-counter and health isle items
- Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
- Ethical, accurate, and detail-oriented in all tasks
- Basic calculation skills and IT literacy, including MS Office and business operating systems
- Team player with integrity and professionalism
