About the Role
Truworths is offering a temporary contract for a Ladieswear In-House Fit Model at their Head Office in Cape Town. This role is part of the Quality Assurance Department, focusing on ensuring sample garments meet the brand’s fit and design standards. The position requires attending fitting sessions and providing detailed feedback on garment fit, comfort, and styling. Candidates are assessed solely on body measurements, not appearance, making accuracy in measurements essential before applying.
Key Responsibilities
The In-House Fit Model will be responsible for:
- Attending scheduled fitting sessions for sample garments
- Providing accurate and constructive feedback on garment fit, style, and comfort
- Working closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure design standards are met
- Managing appointments and tasks efficiently to meet deadlines
- Maintaining professional conduct and contributing positively to team processes
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet specific body measurements to qualify:
- Size 10/34/small
- Height: 165–170 cm
- Bust: 89 cm
- Waist: 70–72 cm
- Lower hip: 99–100 cm (20 cm below waist)
Additional requirements include: - Computer literacy
