Role Overview

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or Matric
• Up to six months retail experience
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Willingness to work retail hours

• At least one year retail experience

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Restocking shelves to ensure maximum product availability
• Storing delivered stock correctly and timeously
• Checking sell-by dates and removing expired items
• Ensuring the full product range is always on shelves
• Rotating stock using FIFO principles
• Reporting low stock, damaged stock, and expired stock
• Assisting with stock counts and general stocktaking
• Maintaining planograms and store layout standards
• Building and maintaining merchandising displays
• Flattening and disposing of boxes correctly
• Assisting with loading and off-loading deliveries
• Supporting back shopping and staff training

Customer Service Responsibilities

You will support customers by:

• Providing friendly and professional assistance
• Responding to product and stock availability queries
• Following up on out-of-stock items
• Resolving customer stock concerns efficiently
