Keke Mphuthi Takes Us Into Her Latest Short Film Where She Plays A Nurse. It’s always heartwarming to see talented actors get gigs. One such is Keke Mphuthi, who has been quite busy showcasing her range as an actress.

Keke has been cast in a new short film called, Inguquko. The storyline takes us into the romantic relationship between a corrupt politician and a nurse. The two meet in a hospital and strive to make their unorthodox love work. Keke plays the nurse, who is also a single mother, whereas her love interest is the phenomenal, Sipho Ndlovu. Inguquko aired this past weekend on Mzansi Wethu channel 163.

Sometimes we find love in the most unexpected moments and place in life. When a corrupt politician meets a nurse and single mother of 1 in a hospital they both learn to break down the walls of two different worlds that collided and bring them together. In this movie INGUQUKO starring Keke Mphuthi alongside @spholaricky we learn the other side of politics and finding one’s true calling,” she announced.

The award winning actress has another role coming up. She is part of Pimville cast, anew SABC2 drama. Pimville shines a light on the pulse of township life where dreams collide with reality, secrets unravel, and family bonds are tested.

Keke has been cast as Naledi Tumagole, a woman fighting to protect her family and legacy. Naledi is married to Kenneth Tumagole, who is a respected leader pushed to the edge by ambition. Kenneth is played by the multi-award winning Thapelo Mokoena. Other cast members include, Gail Mabalane, Matli Mohapeloa, Mondli Makhoba, Michelle Mosalakae, Clementine Mosimane, Jesse Suntele, Fulu Modibedi, Lilian Dube, Thabo Malema, Charmaine Mtinta, Mandla Gaduka and Eve Rasimeni.
