Back on 2022, the former Miss South Africa (2015) and media personality returned home to Eldorado Park, South of Johannesburg, to gift her grandmother a brand new car. In a video posted on her social media pages, Liesl shared a special moment with her grandmother, Lola Laurie, who was so happy about the wheels her granddaughter bought for her. Accompanied by her husband, Liesl expressed with gratitude how grateful she is that she can still spoil her grandmother.
Today, Grandma Lola is celebrating her 79th birthday. This has been another opportunity for Liesl to show just how much she loves her. Taking to her social media she posted a series of pictures featuring grandma Lola. On the caption, Liesl described her granny as a hero, a superstar as well as a warrior. She also thanked her for making her who she is today.
