Truworths Tygervalley is seeking a skilled Visual Merchandiser to join its Field Operations team. This permanent, on-site role is based in Cape Town, Western Cape. About the Role

As a Visual Merchandiser at Truworths, you will be responsible for enhancing the in-store and window presentation of merchandise. Your work directly influences the customer experience and strengthens the brand image. The role requires a balance of creativity, organization, and practical execution to ensure displays are visually appealing, current, and aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized areas while applying good housekeeping practices
• Implement updates to display procedures and act on internal notifications
• Stay informed about current promotions and credit initiatives
• Enhance Truworths’ image through professional conduct with staff and customers
• Maintain a professional personal appearance at all times
• Provide informed answers to staff and customer queries regarding fashion, promotions, and trends
• Handle staff and customer concerns related to merchandise professionally and calmly
• Contribute actively to team performance and store goals
• Engage in ongoing training and apply new skills to daily work
• Follow security procedures thoroughly
• Stay updated on store safety policies, including OHASA compliance

Qualifications and Experience

• Flexible and able to adapt to constant change
• Ability to understand and follow Implementation Manuals
• Prior visual merchandising experience preferred

• Listening skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
