Samkelo Ndlovu Makes Her Highly Anticipated Inimba Debut. Recently four talented actors were announced as the newest Inimba cast members. They are Luzuko Nkqeto Tina Jaxa, Sandile Mahlangu as well as Samkelo Ndlovu.
The massively talented Luzuko plays Zwelinzima Ngcukana, who is Lazarus’ father. Tina Jaxa, a legend in her owned right has assumed the role of Nomfundoso Ngcukana, a couple of weeks. Recently we got introduced to, Onga, a charming man who is sure to ruffle feathers at Khusela Tech. Already the character played by Sandile, is shaking things up taking charge as the new CIO, and making the ladies drool over him.
Now we get to see Samkelo do her thing as Lillian Gumede. Lillian is described as a bold and enigmatic woman on a mission to claim what’s rightfully hers. Many feel that she is bringing nothing but trouble in Zoleka and Lazarus relationship. She is after all, Lazarus’ ex wife.
Samkelo landed her big break in SABC1’s iconic Zone 14 in 2010 where she played Sonia. Her résumé speaks volumes, with many iconic roles after. These includes roles on Generations: The Legacy, Imbewu, Intersexions, Queendom, Imbewu, Soul City, Adulting and Inkaba. She was also on Rhythm City, where she played Lerato, Fats’ vain and flirtatious cousin.
Inimba is a gripping drama that explores love, ambition, and the unbreakable bond between a mother and her child. The telenovela takes viewers into the life of Zoleka Mabandla played by Lunathi Mapofu. Zoleka had it all: a new family, a promising career, and a dream job offering she found difficult to refuse. But when her husband, Hlathi, forces her to choose between her ambition and their family, she makes the ultimate sacrifice. Fast forward 20 years and Zoleka is now a tech mogul, she’s here to reclaim her life and Qhawe, the daughter she lost. But she soon learns that the past doesn’t let go that easily.
