Thando Thabethe Announces Her Latest Acting Role. Congratulations are in order for Thando Thabethe, who is shinning with a new role. The multi-award winning actress, media personality and entrepreneur is part of the Love and Wine cast. She plays the character of Lena in the upcoming Netflix romance movie. Thando didn’t say much about the role, but one thing for sure, she is bringing her A-game.

Love and Wine takes viewers in the life of a prestigious wine farm heir, Ovee, played by the talented Ntobeko Sishi of Gomora fame. He trades lives with his down-to-earth childhood friend and driver, Nathi (Thandolwethu Zondi), to prove that his luck with the ladies is more than wallet deep. His father, Mr Sityebi, a character played by Bongile Mantsai, runs a successful winery, but Ovee wants to earn his own way in life.
Things get complicated when Ovee meets Amahle (Masali Baduza), a bright and grounded medical student who challenges everything he thought he knew about love, humility and purpose.
Nathi, on the other hand, is living large under the Sityebi name and finds himself drawn to Lena, the winery’s no-nonsense manager who is as intimidating as she is intriguing. This is where viewers, will get to witness Thando show her range as an actress.
