Before even the reality show started, the family’s drama-filled life made headlines. In one jaw dropping incident, Queen Nandi accused church leaders of mistreating her husband, Reverend Mawuzole Mlombi, after he was suddenly removed from his position at the Bedfordview Methodist Church and was told to leave the mission house. Nandi claims that Faith Whitby, the bishop in charge of Methodist churches in Gauteng and North West, was trying to ruin their marriage. Also there has been eviction issues, divorce issues and the couple finding each other again.
The reality show, however, shows that most of the couple’s problems are self inflicted. There is so much toxicity between Nandi and Mlombi. There is no proper communication, the kids are sort of neglected, the mother speaks how she want to the husband, and the husband on the other hand abuses alcohol.
In the recent episode, Nandi gave birth to their 7th child. This came after the family had braai, with other guests, and Nandi experienced some labour signs. She, however, did nit let anyone know what was going on, but rather asked for a moment alone. Nandi then applied the birth lesson she got from TikTok and delivered the baby by herself. Everyone got the shock of their live, when the baby started screaming, and walked into Nandi breastfeeding. Her husband was clearly not impressed, but as usual, Nandi didn’t care. The reality show star, is only happy that she avoided public hospital.
