Breaking News: Scandal! Comes to An End

Breaking News: Scandal! Comes to An End. After over two decades of being on air, Scandal! is getting canned. Although a number of prominent shows have been canned, no one one saw this coming. This is probably because Scandal! is one of the biggest shows ever to hit out TV screens, serving the most interesting storylines for years.
Just like any other show, Scandal has been coming up with some changes to keep up with the changing times. Back in much, there was a whole flip, for the current season. This saw Taps, Mdala and Vuvu buying Ethembeni from Malome Sammy Day. The community at first did not warm up to the trio, but eventually the became one big family. The season also came with new faces including Wright Ngubeni as Botsotso, Owen Sejake as Sammy Day, Botlhale ‘Nia Brown, Baaitsiwe as Tshidi, Bongani Gumede as Ephraim and Danny De Bruyne playing De Wet. The soapie also brought back the ultimate villain, Mthunzi Mayiza and his mother Dambisa.
Sadly, with all the changes, Scandal! is coming to an end. The soapie, will remain on air until the end of June 2026, ensuring that viewers have the opportunity to continue enjoying the drama as it moves towards a memorable finale.
