Just this past March, Shota sang Phumeza Mdabe‘s praises in a heartfelt birthday shout out. He stated that the two met almost two decades back, and instantly, Phumeza transformed his life. After wishing her a happy birthday, Shota toasted to countless more years with her.
Phumeza and Shota have been together as a couple for 18 years. In January, they marked 11 years, since they made things official. Throughout the years the two have made amazing memories, traveling the world, supporting each other’s careers, and just loving each other. The two have also done an amazing job raising their four beautiful kids Sbu, Khumo, Mpho and Mpilo. As Mpilo is virtually impaired, Shota and Phumeza, have inspired the world, with great qualities of raising a child with special needs.
Sadly after so many years, it seems like Phumeza and Shota are headed to splitsville. According to Sunday World publication, Phumeza has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband, Shota, whose real name is Mnqobi Shoba. This comes after he cheating on Phumeza as well as allegations of emotional and psychological abuse. The TV personality and actress, is apparently seeking monthly spousal and child maintenance
