LaConco Excited for Her First Voice Acting Debut As Bluey’s Mother. Ever since venturing into the entertainment industry, Nonkanyiso ‘Laconco’ Conco has just been growing in leaps and bounds. She started with reality TV show, on the Real Housewives of Durban and how she is an multi-award winning media personality and podcaster.
Recently LaConco made her acting debut on Mzansi Magic telenovela, Genesis. Now she is on to the next acting gig, as a voice actress. LaConco has joined BBC studios, where she will play the role of Bluey’s mom, Chili, in the hit animated television series. Bluey, is aimed at pre-school children, and is also quite popular here in South Africa. LaConco, takes this as an honor, more so since, she will be doing it in her language, which is IsiZulu. She also shared that she ad Chili have a lot in common as supportive mothers who stay in their own lane.
“I am honoured to have stepped into the world of voice acting with BBC studios, lending my voice to dabbing Chili (Bluey’s mum) in IsiZulu. This has been an incredible experience I never imagined. My heart is full, glory to God, I’m humbled.

Chili and I share so much in common, a loving, supportive mother who stays in her own lane. I especially admire how she values her children for who they are, without comparing them to others.
