Sho Madjozi Gushes Over Her Younger Sister Being Part of the Swimming National Team. Talent definitely runs in this family. Sho Madjozi is a well known multi SAMAs award-winning artist best known for her Xitsonga lyrics and vibrant fashion. She also has international awards under her including a BET.
She is not the only family member doing amazing things both locally and abroad. Her younger sister, Zora Wegerif, is on her way to becoming one of the greatest swimmers this country has ever produced. She has just been selected to represent South Africa and to compete at the Virtus World Swimming Championships in Thailand.
“My little sister swims for the South African national team. πΏπ¦ ππΌββοΈ.”
“Zora is ranked number 1 in female swimmers with Down Syndrome in Gauteng and number 2 in South Africa,” Sho Madjozi gushed.
The proud sister also added that Zora is currently in Thailand representing South Africa. Sho Madjozi then urged people to show her some on the Instagram post shared by her swim club, Dragons. Immediately after her big sister’s post, Zora was showered with massive love and support from the nation.
Zora has down syndrome, but has not let that stop her from reaching greatness. She is an athlete who likes to swim, cycle with her father and dance. In 2017, Zora became the first person with Down syndrome to finish the 94.7 cycle race when she completed the challenge with her father, on a tandem bike. She also competes in all regional athletic competitions, including the 100M, 200M, 400M sprints, long jump and shot put.
