Ashley Ogle and Lasizwe Lead the 2025 South African Social Media Awards Nominees Pack. The SASMAs have just dropped their highly ancipated 2025 nominees list. These awards caters for brands, influencers and agencies using digital tools for content creation. Just and hour after opening voting lines, the SASMA website crashed. The technical issues were fixed in not time, giving fans the opportunity to vote for their faves.

The top two personalities leading the packwith their nominations are Ashley Ogle and Lasizwe Dambuza. Both celebrities have been voted three times each. Lasizwe is battling it out with international stars in the African Social Media Star of the Year category. The entertainer is also a nominee in the Most Popular Content Across Platforms and Social Media Personality of the Year categories.

Ashley on the other hand is contesting in the Emerging Personality of the Year, Best Social Media Newcomer and Most Popular Hashtag of the Year categories. The reality show star and influencer, became a household name after participation in season 5 of Big Brother Mzansi. Although, she was evicted i just four weeks, she went on tobag herself one of the most solid fanbases.
