1. Keitumetse Kasonkola was born in Mahikeng on 04 July 1988, she is 37 years old. She graduated from Pretoria High School for Girls in 2006. She then furthered her studies at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, where she graduated with a BA in Dramatic Arts, in 2014.

2. While in high school, her father wanted her to become an engineer. After giving it much thought Keitu knew that wasn’t what she wanted to do. She had to sit him down and explain that she wanted to be a performer.

3. The talented actress made a mark in the industry with her starring role as Jane Ratau in the SABC2 sitcom Ga Re Dumele, from 2011-2013. She replaced Boitumelo Mothabela, who now plays Gloria Magongwa in Skeem Saam.

4. In 2016 she had a guest starring role in the second season of the SABC1 sitcom Thandeka’s Diary. Keitu was also on numerous shows including Generations, Generations: The Legacy, The Throne, Home Affairs, Sokhulu and Partners, Entangled and How to Ruin Christmas 3.

5. She bagged a role as Nkele on Mzansi Magic telenovela, Champions in 2024. Keitu gave the role her all, as it reminded her so much of her mother, a woman who would do anything for her kids.
