“We Are Not Sad But We Are In Pain,” Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule Remembers His Wife Zanele Mbokazi A Year Since Her Passing

We Are Not Sad But We Are In Pain,” Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule Remembers His Wife Zanele Mbokazi A Year Since Her Passing. In just a week’s time they could be celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary. Sadly, August now is a month of grief, as opposed to celebration. Zanele Mbokazi passed away on this month a year ago.

Zanele passed on in the early morning of Monday 12th August 2024, at Parklands Hospital. The radio personality and Crown Gospel Awards co-founder lost her 3-month lung cancer battle. In a statement shared by her husband Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule, the family expressed gratitude for all the support they have been receiving since her illness, up until her death.

A day ago, marked a full year since Zanele’s passing. Bishop Nkambule took to social media to pay a touching tribute to his late wife. He posted a picture of Zanele lying on bed, and gave it a moving caption. The now widowed Bishop, stated that his wife’s memory still lives on, and assured her that he and the children are still serving God.

It was on this day, August 12th 2024, when my beautiful wife Zanele Mbokazi transitioned to glory. The memory of the righteous is blessed. Her impact is still felt. Her voice is not silenced even in her absence. The children and I are still living in the goodness of God. I know we will meet in that glorious resurrection morning where all the saints of God will gather.
Keep resting my love. Till then. ❤️❤️❤️

Zanele and Nkambule met in 2010 at a church seminar in Swaziland. They then tied the knot in 2011 at Champagne Sports Resort in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Top Billing was even there for the high profile nuptials of the couple.

The bride literally flew down to the aisle arriving at her nuptials in a helicopter. Moments later, she was whisked away in a Porsche Panamera before settling into a horse-drawn carriage that took her to church. The groom arrived in a Mercedes CLS 350, flanked by four super-bikes.

Among the guests were Swaziland’s King Mswati III’s first wife, Inkosikhati Lambikazi, former President Jacob Zuma’s wife Nompumelelo Ntuli-Zuma, and many more.
