Dee Opens Up About the Toxicity That Was In Her Marriage With Khutso Mokoena

Dee Opens Up About the Toxicity That Was In Her Marriage With Khutso Mokoena. They met on the day of their wedding day. Dee Seturumane and Khutso Mokoena were part of Married At First Sight Mzansi, and that’s how it goes for cast members.

During the show, the couple experienced normal problems, but were able to get over them. Dee had a son, that she lived with, whereas Khutso’s daughter lived with her mom. Personality wise, Dee was an outspoken individual, whereas Khutso was always calm and quite laid back. Despite having opposite personalities, the love they had for each other, was not affected. At the end of the show, they chose to remain married.

They made the decision to live apart, and visit each other constantly, while trying to figure life out. Eventually Khutso moved in with Dee, and used his apartment as an AirBnB. From the get go, the newlyweds started having problems. Dee shared some of those as a guest on the Engineer Your Life podcast. She stated that during their marriage, Khutso would give her a month-long silent treatment. Their was emotional abuse including narcissism, stone walling as well as financial abuse. She also shared that he would be up until around 1am, not coming to bed, because he was watching cartoons.

On the comments section, one lady came out saying, she and Khusto used to date. She also spoke about the abuse she suffered while they were still dating. The whole situation of Dee and Khutso has her all triggered.

Having dated Khutso at a point in my life, yes this lady may be outspoken in nature or even has her own short falls but one thing I know she aint told no lie about the character of that man. Just listening to her, I recall the trauma of that relationship and man I cannot begin to imagine how bad it got on a marriage level because I was just a girlfriend but everything she said from the ghosting to the silent treatments, the attention seeking events post ghosting you! man that is the Khutso/Victor I experienced too. I did my healing but to an extent just hearing another lady describing him the way I would too was like hug to my soul I never knew I needed. I hope they both find healing,” the lady said.
