Babyface Announces He Is Coming to South Africa. It’s all excitement on social media after Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds let his South African fans know that he is coming over. The last time he was in South Africa, was in 2022 when he performed at the DStv Delicious fest. Babyface is billed to headline the 2025 All White Soul Sessions Concert. He will perform on two nights at the Sunbet Arena TimeSquare in Pretoria on December 12 and 13. Announcing the gig, he shared that he can’t wait to meet his fans, stunning in all white dress code.
“It’s a week full of announcements apparently 😃 South Africa I’ll be seeing you December 12 & 13 in Pretoria. I can’t wait! I hear we are having an all white dress code and I know everyone will look stunning 🤍 See you soon,” Babyface announced.
Babyface has been dominating the music industry as a singer, writer and producer for more than four decades. He wrote and produced chart-topping hits like “End of the Road” by Boyz II Men, “Breathe Again” by Toni Braxton, and “Exhale (Shoop Shoop)” by Whitney Houston. As a solo artist, Babyface’s smooth vocals and heartfelt lyrics have earned him a loyal global fan base, including here in SouthAfrica. Beyond his own performances, Babyface has shaped the sound of generations, working with superstars such as Beyoncé, Eric Clapton, Madonna, TLC, and Mariah Carey. His work has earned him over 50 Top 10 R&B hits, 12 Grammy Awards, and the honour of being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Quite simply, Babyface is the soul of R&B, and we can’t wait to have him here.
