There are a number of award to look forward to this year, and some have already dropped their nominations list. One can think of the Simon Mabhunu Sabela KZN Film & Television Awards and Basadi In Music Awards. These prestigious awards celebrate TV and film stars as well as women in music respectively.
Among the nominees is Zanele Potelwa, up for a Basadi In Music Award. The award winning media personality and events host, is battling it out under the TV Presenter of the Year category. This is for her SABC 1 show Hots Pot Seli, which she hosts with Siphesihle Vazi, and Sparks. For the award, Zanele is up against Mpumi Mlambo for SABC 1’s Ushuni, Lerai for MTV Base’s Newsish and Naledi M of Channel O, who are equally talented.
Taking to her Instagram, Zanele expressed her joy over the nomination. She also urged her fans to vote for her, so she brings the award home.
