Leleti Khumalo Takes A Moment to Appreciate Her Husband. Power couple, Leleti Khumalo and Skhutazo Winston Khanyile recently took on Monaco, painting the town red. Although the two had absolute fun as tourists, the main purpose of the trip was to attend the 64th Monte-Carlo Television Festival.
Don’t Give Up, which stars Leleti, was nominated for a Golden Nymph Award in the “Special Creation” category. The short film, produced by Singh and directed by Darrell James Roodt, follows the life of Faith, a homeless beggar and a single mother of two young sons Lucky and Siyabonga, and her bid to survive in the harsh environment of modern day Johannesburg. How cool is it that, Don’t Give Up won, putting South Africa on the map!
Reacting to the win, Leleti stated that it was an honor to have gone up and accepted this award with her producer, Singh. She also thanked the director of the film, Darrell James Roodt for his amazing work. She extended gratitude also to Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco for so warmly welcoming and congratulating them in their beautiful country. It was even more beautiful that her husband was right beside her for the moment. Leleti thanked her better half for always being present and celebrating her milestones with her.
