Clement Maosa Responds to Reports That He Is Leaving Skeem Saam. He is one of the original cast members of Skeem Saam since its first episode on 13 October 2011. Almost 14 years later, Clement Maosa is still with the SABC1 educational drama, playing Zamokuhle Kwaito Seakamela.

Over the years, we have seen some of the original cast leave the show. Among those include Cornet Mamabolo who played Thabo Tbose Maputla, Lydia Mokgokoloshi who played Koko Mantsha and Pearl Nicolic who played Sonto Magongwa. Clement, is one of the original cast, who is still with the show to date. We have seen his character grow from being a high school student, going to university, and getting married to Lizzy. In between there has been drama, including being kidnapped by Lelo, discovering that John Maputla is his real father, his infidelity issues, losing his unborn twins, separation from his wife, career drama and many more.

With the storyline focusing on other characters, we hardly see Kwaito do his thing. Also, the man behind Kwaito, Clement, is pushing other hustles, including new music. This has led to speculations that he might be leaving the drama. Some online news publications, have even published articles stating that Clement is parting ways with Skeem Saam. This saddened his fans, who have loved him from day one. Reacting to the news, the talented actor and musician regards them as fake news. He also cautioned his fans and followers against believing everything they read online.
