Social Media Weighs In On Dr Nandipha Magudumana Recent Look. Many are used to seeing her slaying in the courtroom. From time to time, Dr Nandipha Magudumana, came to court with fresh hairdos, and designer clothes. She made Nike outfits, braids and red lipstick her trademark.
This morning Nandipha together with her partner, convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester, and eight co-accused are appearing in the Bloemfontein High Court for a pre-trial hearing over charges linked to Bester’s 2022 prison escape. The case has drawn the attention of many, including international media, as it is one of its kind. It was initially believed Bester had died in his prison cell at the Mangaung Correctional Centre in May 2022. A couple of months later, allegations surfaced that the burnt body found in his cell was not his. Shockingly Magudumana and Bester were spotted shopping in Sandton. When this made rounds on both mainstream media and social media, the duo fled the country. They were arrested and detained in Tanzania two years ago.
This is a high profile case, and always gets the mainstream and social media attention. What many noticed today, is how Nandipha has changed. It seems like reality of being in prison has now clocked in for her. Nandipha is a shadow of her former self, and no longer serves those looks. She has lost weight, and looks quite stressed. Before all of this, Nandipha had it all, a a celebrity doctor, with a family that one can only dream being part of. This came crushing down, when she got involved with Thabo, and now, she is behind bars, waiting for her fate.
