The 40 year old legendary actor passed away today (Tuesday 27th May), at the age of 40. However, details surrounding his death are yet to be officially shared.

Many remember Presley from the 2005 movie Tsotsi, where he played the troubled gangster David. David was a young street thug who stole a car only to discover a baby in the back seat. The part earned him the Golden Horn Award in 2006 and put him up there as one of the great actors. On the movie Presley starred alongside another legend, Terry Pheto. They instantly became global stars and the nation’s pride.

The multi-award winning actress, has joined mourners, who are currently paying tribute to Presley. Just like everyone, she is in shock, and in deep grief. Terry extended her condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues in the industry. She also took us back to the moment when their movie Tsotsi won an Oscar in 2006 for Best International Feature Film. The film was also nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film, becoming the first South African film and first African film not made in French to win the former. In 2009, Tsotsi was unofficially remade in Tamil as Yogi.
