Khaya Dlanga Relives His Late Brother’s Suicide On What Would Have Been Her Birthday. Five years ago, the Dlanga family experienced the worst kind of loss when their own, Nganga Dlanga committed suicide.

Announcing his brother’s passing Khaya Dlanga said, “My dear brother, Nganga, whom I loved very much is no longer with us, he is with God now. I never imagined this day would come. We miss your smile and your laugh already.” Since then, the author and media personality, has been educating his followers about the importance of speaking about mental struggles and getting help following the death of his brother, Nyanga.

When it comes to milestones such as birthdays, one gets to relive the fact that their loved one is gone. For Khaya, it’s Nganga’s birthday, which was just the other day.

“Yesterday would have been my late brother’s birthday. It is now what one would call a heavenly birthday I suppose. Here is an extract from my book, Life Is Like That Sometimes, about the day I found his suicide note,” Khaya said.
