Gauta BMX Cyclists Over the Moon for Their First Flight Experience

Gauta BMX Cyclists Over the Moon for Their First Flight Experience. Talk about making history! Gauta Mahlakoane, Maxwell Ndou and Karabo Mokoo recently cycled all the way to Cape Town from Limpopo, and now the boys are returning back in style. They are flying from Cape Town to Oliver Tambo, another first in their lives.
Cycling to Cape Town from Limpopo, wasn’t for fun. The Gauta BMX cyclists wanted to raise money for their community to establish a cycling club to introduce more young people to the joys of cycling. They have actually done more than that. From the get-go, the trio got support, praises, and donations from the country at large. On their journey to Cape Town, they’ve also captured the hearts of the nation, also attracting sponsors from big organizations. This is mainly because philanthropist DJ Karri stepped in and mobilized the sponsorships aspect.
Upon reaching Cape Town, they got a heroes’ welcome. Also brands like Bathu and KFC pitched in with contributions. While in the Mother City, the boys explored cool places, where fun was had. They mingled with the locals taking pictures and signing autographs. Today, the Gauta BMX team is leaving Cape Town, coming to Johannesburg via flight. This is their first flying experience and they are over the moon. They will be landing at O.R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg between 14:00-15:00, and are anticipating to be welcomed by fans.
