Mata Mashila Announces New Music. Before the Big Brother Mzansi fame, Mathapelo Mata Mashila, was already making waves in the entertainment industry. Mata has been pushing as a Amapiano artist, and doing pretty well.

Some of her work include the hit track, Thekeni KaGuluva. In the song Mata worked with the late Mampintsha and DopeShady. She was also one of the headliners at The Rand Show, and hopes to perform at more festivals and gigs and explore opportunities in television presenting. With her newfound exposure from the show, she plans to focus on her music career and collaborate with brands that align with her energy and values.

While in the house though, Mata did not hint much about this side of her to housemates. Perhaps, she was waiting for the right time, which never came, as she was evicted before even making Top 10.
