Uthando Nes’thembu Viewers Applaud MaKhumalo for Finally Standing On Business. If you wonder why Uthando Nes’thembu has maintained it’s longevity, then season 8 has your answer. From the get go, the on-going season brought viewers all the drama needed in a reality show.
It was evident that the inclusion of wife number 5 in the polygamy family was going to be a problem. The likes of MaNgwabe and MaYeni, have always maintained that they don’t appreciate their husband getting a new wife. On several occasions, MaNgwabe has always maintained that she would leave the family. Well, Musa Mseleku went ahead, and has Samke Makhwela, a one of his women. So far MaKhwela, has only been welcomed by the first wife, MaCele.
On Wednesday episode, Mseleku, had a traditional ceremony, where he thanked his ancestors for his health and life. Unbeknownst to his wife, he also used the event to introduce MaKhwela officially. This did not sit well with MaYeni, MaKhumalo and MaNgwabe. They felt tricked and disrespected by their husband’s actions.
MaKhumalo, who use to agree with most things Mseleku did, was the first one to stand and object. The reality show star, media personality and entrepreneur boldly addressed Mseleku, citing her grievances on the issue.
She was followed by MaNgwabe, then lastly MaYeni. MaKhumalo’s stance has viewers applauding her, because at last, she can disagree with Mseleku, over things she is not happy about. In the past, many viewers felt, she was enabling her husband, because she seemed to go with most things he did or said. In the first couple of episodes, MaKhumalo was even deemed, the favorite of the wives. Indeed a woman is allowed to change her mind!
