Viewers Weigh In On the Changes At Scandal!. It’s a new season, new faces, new storyline, new title sequence and new logo for Scandal!. The hit show has gone through some massive changes for it’s spin-off.
On Friday, it felt like the show was coming to an end, after NFH building burnt down. Dintle Nyathi, who is the CEO, said it was the end for her, but assured Linda that journalists will still have their jobs. Sadly Tlhogi was among the people trapped in the building, and she was badly hurt. The actress playing the role, Makoma Mohale, had viewers worried, when she seemingly said her goodbyes. It turned out that Makoma was only bidding farewell to the season, and her character is very much alive.
The new season started this Monday, fast forwarding to a year later, and a lot has changed. For starters Taps, Mdala and Vuvu have just bought Ethembeni from Malome SammyDay. The community is not feeling the trio, and the business also doesn’t seem like a great investment, only time will tell though. On more positive notes, Thlogi and Mdala’s beautiful life has started with their beautiful twins.
With all the new faces coming at once, viewers were left confused. They feel the producers have dramatically changed Scandal! and it’s hard for them to keep up. Having noted that, there are those who have hope, that something great is being cooked. They are anticipating the return of Mthunzi Mayiza, who is clearly going to shake things up. Also some viewers want to see what the new characters will bring, and if it is completely over for the past cast.
