Londie London’s ex Boyfriend Sphamandla Mabonga Reportedly Shot Dead. Sphamandla Mabonga is said to be one of the three people who were fatally shot at the famous Solo club in Sandton. He was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries. This happened on Thursday evening.

According to Sunday World publication, the police stated that a man with a firearm wanted to enter the restaurant, which has a no firearm policy. This started an altercation which led to a shooting between the man’s bodyguards and security guards. His two bodyguards were declared dead on the scene while five victims, were taken to hospital with gunshot injuries. No arrests have been made as yet, and investigations are ongoing.

Mabonga is not new to this kind of controversy. In January 2024, he was arrested following a shooting incident. He had to be treated in hospital after he was shot in the ribs following a shootout at Tempo nightclub in Sandton. He sustained injuries, and was admitted at Mediclinic Morningside. A few months later Mabonga was detained on suspicion of starting a fight with the nightclub’s security guards in the Johannesburg suburb of Sunninghill.

In 2023, Mabonga was in a relationship with reality show star, musician and entrepreneur, Londie London. The two served some rich power couple goals, always flaunting their wealth. Currently trending on social media, is a 2023 video of Londie London presenting Mabonga, with a birthday gift while holding a big firearm. Their whirlwind romance did not last, as they both went their separate ways.
