Sorisha Naidoo On Her Mother Turning 80 and Surviving Cancer Among Other Challenges. Quite often a times, when one hears the name Sorisha Naidoo they think riches, glam, fashion and beauty. Yes she has those things, but just like everyone else, she goes through life’s hardships.
The reality show star, actress, model and entrepreneur and her family have just had a great celebration to honor their mother. The old woman recently turned 80, and the family went all out for her. Sorisha took to social media to share what went down on the day. From the decor, food, set up, one can tell that no cent was spared.
Sorisha also opened up about family struggles, one being her mother’s cancer diagnosis. She revealed that her mother had suffered cancer for almost a decade. On the other hand, her dad was diagnosed with glaucoma. Despite the challenges, the two are strong, and their bond is even stronger. Sorisha also mentioned the devastating loss of her two brothers, which has clearly hit the family hard.
“For many of you who are looking at these pics, my mum turned 80, she has had cancer for going close to a decade, she is a survivor, my dad was also diagnosed with glaucoma, they are inseparable and the cutest couple. My sister and I have been talking about a Ram Bhajan for so long and my mums 80th was a now or never. It was a bitter sweet day, we have lost two brothers and we were reminiscing and recalling all the memories of eras gone by. An emotional and very moving day hence the stoic faces but a significant day as a family to celebrate my mum,” Sorisha said.
