Tol Ass Mo Issues Out An Apology to Gogo Skhotheni After Being Insensitive Over Her Son’s Passing. Asking for forgiveness after wronging a person, is such a noble thing to do. It even takes guts, more so when you have to do it on a public platform.
Tol Ass Mo, found himself in a controversial situation after speaking ill of Gogo Skotheni regarding her late son. The comedian and TV personality insinuated that Gogo Skhotheni’s work as a traditional healer has something to do with 2-year-old Monde Jr’s passing. This did not sit well with Skhotheni’s husband, Monde Shange. He took to Instagram to address Tol Ass Mo, as he felt, lines were crossed.
“There are lines that should never be crossed, and one of them is speaking on the loss of someone’s child with disrespect and ignorance. @tolassmothegamer , the comment you made about my wife and my son’s passing is beyond hurtful—it’s reckless and inhumane. My wife, as a mother, has been carrying unimaginable pain every single day since Monde Junior left us. To suggest that her work as a traditional healer had anything to do with his passing is not only false but deeply offensive,” Monde said
Tol Ass Mo immediately apologized for the words he said in the heat of the moment. After sometime, he realized how insensitive his words were. Tol Ass Mo, even went as far as saying he won’t celebrate his 39th birthday until Gogo Skhotheni forgives him.
“I want to take a moment to sincerely apologize for my words. In the heat of the moment, I spoke without truly understanding the depth of pain that comes with losing a child. I realize now how insensitive my words may have been, and I deeply regret any hurt I may have caused.
Loss is something no one should have to experience, and I can’t begin to imagine the pain of those who have. I take full accountability for my words, and I am truly sorry. Moving forward, I will be more mindful and considerate in my speech, ensuring that I lead with empathy and understanding.
To anyone I may have hurt, please know that it was never my intention. I appreciate the opportunity to learn and do better.”
Its my 39th Birthday but I will not celebrate it until @gogo_skhotheni forgives me,” Tol Ass Mo said.
