Donald made appearances on shows such as Rhythm City, 3Talk with Noeleen, MTV Base and Vuzu. Over the Moon also became a well known song in Africa at large.
Thehe album, also saw Donald get nominated for the Best New Artist at the 2012 Channel O Music Video Awards. In 2013, he became the stand-out artist at the 2013 Metro FM Music Awards for having been the most nominated artist. Among his nominations were Best Produced Album, Best Video, Best Male and Best Dance Album. He was nominated for Best International Act: Africa at BET Awards 2013.
Now Donald is working on another album, Train of Love 2. The album will be released on the 7th February, his birthday. He has shared some of the artists featured, among them Lwah Ndlunkulu Baby S.O.N and Bassie. Donald’s fans are looking forward to the new album, but of course here and there, there will be haters. One critic said he should give up music, as his era has passed. Without being too spicy, Donald let the individual know that his album is soon to drop, regardless.
