Lasizwe’s Show Awkward Dates Gets A New Home. Congratulations are on order for Lasizwe Dambuza. His hit dating show Awkward Dates now has a new home. The show follows Lasizwe going on blind dates with various celebrities.
Awkward Dates has grown big in such a short space of time, and we love this for Lasizwe. So far Lasizwe has had dates with the likes of Economic Freedom Fighter leader Julius Malema, TV personality Maps Maponyane, rapper and actress Boity Thulo, comedian Celeste Ntuli, reality show star Christall Kay, rapper Kwesta, musician Thabo Smol, and many others. Lasizwe always manages to get his celebrity guests to relax, and just have fun on the show.
Awkward Dates is doing so well that a couple of months ago, it was nominated at the South African Film and TV Awards, in the Best Online Content category. The show was nominated alongside Giving it Gears with Jason Goliath and The Adventures of Noko Mashaba – Struggles of SA Youth.
On more greater news, Lasizwe has shared that Awkward Dates has a new home. It will now be shot at Rocomamas, one of the popular food outlets in the country. Guests will now be having delicious meals, while having conversations with Lasizwe.
