Check Out Winnie Khumalo’s Memorial Service Details. Reality strikes when arrangements such as memorial and funeral services get made. This is the situation with Winnie Khumalo, who passed away a couple of days ago. It is now sinking in for a lot of people, that she is gone.
The veteran musician and actress died on Tuesday at her home after a short illness. She was only 51 years of age. Since her passing industry peers, fans and South Africa at large has been sending tribute and condolence messages. As expected, her daughter Rethabile Khumalo, has been using social media to express her grief. The two worked together on some music projects, as they are both in the industry. They also spent time together, and had such a special mother and daughter bond.
Rethabile recently updated the public regarding her mother’s memorial service. It will be held on Wednesday 15th 2025 at the Market Theatre. The service will take place 12h00 to 14h00.
