Sbahle Mpisane Sets the Record Straight for Those Constantly Asking About Her Moon Boot. On August 9, 2018, Sbahle Mpisane had a life-changing car accident. This has left her with permanent injuries and scars.
According to Sbahle, another drunk driver was driving badly so she started driving faster to get away from that vehicle. Her BMW 4 series hit the sidewalk causing her to hit her head and pass out, her leg jammed the accelerator, went faster, and hit the robot and, thereafter, it went straight into the tree.
It was only two years back that Sbahle started sharing a lot about her accident, thanks to her YouTube channel, Sbahle’s Visual Book. On the first episode, she shared the extent of her gruesome injuries, revealing that 80% of her bones were broken. Also the fitness bunny doesn’t have an ankle bone on one foot. This has made her to permanently wear a moon boot, as to stabilize her spine. The good thing is that she walks comfortably with the boot, and it doesn’t cause her irritation.
Sadly for Sbahle, her situation has warranted unwanted attention. Many people still ask her about her injuries, and this gets to her. All she wants is to live her life, without having to revisit her trauma.
“I am my own book, reflecting resilience and positivity while maintaining my privacy to protect my sensitive emotions.
We have doctors and Google, so please refrain from asking us about our traumas. It’s not a fairy tale story that we wish to discuss. Imagine living a life like this without being given any peace. I’m very healthy and have no future worries, but your messages and comments are behind every tear I shed.
I don’t like to be questioned because it takes me back,” Sbahle said.
