Basetsana Kumalo Takes Us Into Her Beautiful Relationship With Her Sister Johanna. Doing this life thing with a sibling by your side, is by far the most beautiful thing ever. When there is sibling rivalry in many families, the Makgalemele sisters have maintained a healthy relationship for decades.
At every given point Basetsana Kumalo and Johanna Makgalemele sing each other’s praises. When Bassie celebrated her 50th birthday earlier this year,Johanna spoke about their childhood, their amazing bond and how they still hold it together as siblings. In turn Bassie also shared how amazing life with Johanna has been. She regards her as her confidant, protector, and her number one supporter.
The sisters are currently having the best time of their lives in France. Bassie and Johanna painted the town red with their fashion sense, and bright personalities.
“We are winning in #cannes 😃 black and white in these South of France 🇫🇷 streets 💃,” Johanna captioned one of their pictures.
Bassie also took to her Instagram, showing off the great time they are having. “Never a dull moment with my sister @johanna.makgalemele it’s so lovely to be reminiscing about our childhood memories and making new ones! Love this human,” she wrote.
She also shared a heartwarming video, summarizing the kind of bond she has with Johanna. The two are just like twins, they do almost everything simultaneously, how cute!
“It’s so uncanny how we have the same mannerisms, idiosyncrasies, finish each others sentences, have repeated jokes that still crack us up, look at each other and we know what the other is thinking. I guess growing up in the same household, we have the same frame of reference and just get each other,” Bassie captioned their video.
