Uncle Waffles Disappointed Over How Some Things Were Handled At An Event In Kenya. It’s always exciting when our artists bag international gigs. One doing very well in that department is Uncle Waffles. She has sold outs at major venues across the world, sharing stages with global superstars.
Recently, the world acclaimed South-African Amapiano based artist and DJ, performance at ” For The Love of Amapiano”, FTLA concert in Nairobi, Kenya. Sadly things did not go according to plan, and Uncle Waffles has issued a statement to address them. First and foremost, she was not happy with the sound, just before her performance. Waffles also stated that her team was mishandled.
Things also allegedly turned chaotic, as attendees were teargassed out of the venue due to alleged disorganization.
This did not sit well with Uncle Waffles, and she took it upon herself to address the event organizers. According to her, people were pushed around, mishandled and treated with the least amount of care. Waffles added that, she is all about the well being and safety of her fans. She then urged the organizers to do better in future.
“To the organizers, you have not only disappointed med, but you have also let down the 10 000+ people who came out in support of this event. I urge you to do better, if you have any desire to continue putting events together in the future,” she said.
