Melanie Bala Celebrates Her Son As He Gets Done With School. Where does time go? Bet this is the question that many parents asks, when their kids finish their formal schooling. Melanie Bala knows this very well, thanks to her firstborn child, Sean Bala.
This year, her kids have been making her proud. First Sean had his Matric Dance, an occasion celebrated by his close family and friends. Although his parents are no longer a couple, they came together to see him off on his special day. Melanie took to Instagram to share pictures of the featuring some extended family members, all happy for Sean.
Earlier this month, Sean turned 18, another major milestone. Mommy dearest was over the moon. The veteran media personality reminisced about the beautiful memories of Sean as a little boy. Melanie also wishes her son the best, as he steps into another phase, adulthood!
Now he just completed his formal schooling. Once again, Melanie celebrated on social media. She took it back to when Sean started schooling, and some of the shenanigans he got up to. Melanie also thanked her big boy for being a good kid, all these years, and wished him a bright future.

From biting your classmate in Grade R 🫠🫣, to standing up to a bully in Grade 6, to discovering and leaning in to your drawing talent throughout – it’s been a joy to experience it all, even though homework in Grade 3 nearly killed us both 😂😂
I told you in the car this morning but I’ll repeat it here: Thank you for being a good kid. We had a few wobbles but you learnt the lesson out of it each time, and did better. Thank you for working hard and helping your sister with math 😩
