Vusi Thembekwayo Bags An International Award
Vusi Thembekwayo Bags An International Award. The ‘No DNA Just RSA!’ phenomenon definitely did not end with the 2024 Paris Olympics. South African personalities continue to take up space on various international platforms.
Just recently, Vusi Thembekwayo and Dr John Kani won big at the Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Africa Awards. Vusi walked away with the Guardian Award, while Dr Kani bagged the EMY Africa Lifetime Achievement Award. EMY is a lifestyle brand that addresses the people, places, ideas, and issues that shape men’s personal expressions, development, and experiences. Each EMY Africa Magazine issue features fashion, journalism, culture, and service articles on business, investment, family, fitness, grooming, and health.
“Last night I had the incredible privilege of being awarded the Guardian Award at the prestigious @emyafrica awards. I was one of South Africans honoured at the event. Myself, the legend bab’John Kani,” Vusi said in gratitude.
He credits all his success to God, and has asked for more guardian from above. Although he has worked hard and been through a lot, Vusi did not take away from those who are yet to get this recognition.
“But the truth is there are many others who have taken risks, gone through worse trials & endured more pain than me. Yet, they don’t have the accolades.
The truth is this: it is only but by the grace of God. It is by the blood of Jesus. It is by the covering of the Holy Spirit that I am here.
Dear Holy Spirit, reduce me. Increase You. Crucify this flesh that I may only seek Jesus,” he successful businessman and motivational speaker said.
