Kim Jayde to Host An International Beauty Pageant
Kim Jayde to Host An International Beauty Pageant. Our South African entertainers continue to shine beyond borders, and we love this for them. The likes of Tyla, Thuso Mbedu, Nomzamo Mbatha and Uncle Waffles every now and then bag major international gigs.
The latest one to do so is Kim Jayde. The award-winning media personality, model and entrepreneur has been announced as Miss World Zimbabwe 2024. Kim is excited over the gig, more so since Zimbabwe is home to her.
“Your Host for Miss World Zimbabwe 2024🇿🇼
I’ve been sitting on this one for months and can finally share the news! I’m COMING HOME😭🥰🙌🏽
A massive thank you to @zimbutterfly for trusting me with such a huge honour- I cannot wait to touch down in Harare and be part of the Miss World Zimbabwe family as we build on the legacy on this special country♥️
This is what Dreams are Made of! Thank You God🙌🏽🇿🇼 #zimbabwe #zimbabwean #tvhost #masterofceremony,” Kim gushed.
Kim was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, and moved to Bulawayo, where she was raised for the earlier parts of her life. In 2009 after high school, she moved to South Africa to begin her career in modeling and continue with her studies.
It was not easy for Kim to penetrate the industry though, but she kept on pushing. When modeling gigs were hard to come by, Kim then became a hostess and started doing promo work, working her way to the to. She has cemented herself in the industry and is known for a lot of major gigs and achievements. One of her those is being the first Zimbabwean to join for the Revlon SA Campaign in 2018. Kim also made it to the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 and became a presenter at MTV Base.
