“Deeply Honored and So Excited,” Nomzamo Mbatha On Hosting Prince William’s Event. She is without a doubt one of the biggest South African exports. When the international community wants a local personality for an event, or to represent their brand, Nomzamo Mbatha‘s name definitely pops up.

Just a few months ago, the celebrated media personality, actress and Goodwill ambassador was unveiled as Earthshot Prize ambassador. Launched by Prince William and The Royal Foundation in October 2020, the Earthshot Prize is the most prestigious environment prize in history. It aims to discover, celebrate and scale solutions to the environmental challenges facing the planet.

On more great news, Nomzamo will host the Earthshot Week, coming up in a few days. She will share the honour with Australian conservationist and wildlife photographer Robert Irwin.

How cool is it that our very own Bonang Matheba will host the Earthshot Prize Awards. Bonang will be holding it down with American actor and singer Billy Porter. Both celebrated stars are excited over the gig. The fourth annual Earthshot Prize Awards, will take place in Cape Town on November 6.

Another local star, Nomuzi Mabena will host a special green carpet pre-show. The rapper and media personality will do so with Nigerian celebrity Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

Among those attending include, supermodels Heidi Klum and Winnie Harlow. The event will also be graced by The Vampire Diaries actor Nina Dobrev as well as actor and musician Tobe Nwigwe. Musical acts featured on the line-up include Davido, Diamond Platnumz, Lebo M, Ndlovu Youth Choir and Uncle Waffles.

The Earthshot Prize Awards will air on 50 platform across the continent.
