Pearl Thusi Becomes the Latest SA Celeb On the Comedy Central Roast Hot Seat. Now this is going to be a roast for the books. Pearl Thusi is one celebrity who gives as much as she takes, and has defied the cancel culture a number of times.
In 2019, the media personality, actress, DJ and entrepreneur did amazing things at the Roast of AKA. Although many were skeptical that Pearl was the Roast Master, she left them eating humble pie, with how she handled the gig.
Now all eyes will be on her, as she takes the center stage as the one being roasted. The panel might want to poke into her friendship with DJ Zinhle, her love life, her career, her twerking online among other things. Obviously Pearl has developed thick skin from all the dragging she gets from social media. This means that those roasting her can go all out because she can take it. The question though is, will they be able to take it when it’s time for her to take the podium!
The Comedy Central Roast of Pearl Thusi, will be recorded at Gold Reef City’s Lyric Theatre on Thursday 21 November 2024. The special will be broadcast on Comedy Central (DStv Channel 122) on 8 December 2024 at 21:00.
