Shudufhadzo Musida Celebrates Her Big Sister Bagging Her Doctorate. Every time she speaks about her family, you can tell she comes from a lineage of strong women. Shudufhadzo Musida herself, is also a high achiever who has made herself and the country proud on numerous occasions.

The former Miss South Africa is quite big on family. She is among people who are blessed enough to experience the love of grandparents. At every given chance, Shudu speaks highly of her grandparents, her granny in particular. Her grandmother was a well respected village elder with so much wisdom. One of the best lesson that Shudu received from her grandmother was to know the importance of using her voice, how she needed to be heard, and how she should use her voice respectfully. “First know and understand, the talk,” her grandmother would say to her.

Se also has a great relationship with her mother, Thandi Musida, a real estate agent. Mom Thandi was present, when Shudu was crowned Miss SA 2020. Shudu also a has a little sister, Zwonka, who she is quite fond of. She has just shared on Twitter that her big sister has bagged herself a doctorate degree. The person Shudu is talking about could be a close relative, or someone she has a bond with. Whatever the case, we can’t help but draw inspiration from Shudu and those close to her.

Shudu herself completed her honours degree in International Relations at the University of Witwatersrand. She previously studied at the University of Pretoria where she earned a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. On top of that, she is a published author with two books under her name.

“My big sis got her doctorate,” Shudu gushed.
