Nambitha Ben-Mazwi Still Hasn’t Been Given Her Actress of the Year Award. Being nominated for an award is a big thing for creatives. After nominations, they work really hard to get people to vote for them, at times even investing money.

In 2022 Nambitha Ben-Mazwi was all joyful when she bagged a nomination at the VN Global Media and Entertainment Awards. The awards are a celebration of Global stars in the Media & Entertainment industry. Founded in 2021, the awards helps support, recognize and award stars for their talent and the hard work that they are putting into growing the industry.

Ben-Mazwi was nominated for the “Actress of the Year” category in the VN Global Awards, alongside two other South Africans, Rosemary Zimu and Khosi Ngema. The award winning actress’s fans went hard with the votes, and she emerged the winner. Sadly, Ben-Mazwi is yet to get what is due to her. A year ago, she took to Twitter apologizing to her fans, who keep on asking here about the award. This is because they worked hard voting, and campaigning for votes.

“It’s August, 8 months later and I still have yet to receive my “Actress of the Year” award from @VuyoJoboda that you all voted tirelessly for me. I really don’t know what else to say when I keep getting asked, I am sorry guys. I know how hard you all campaigned for the votes,” she updated fans.

The founder of the awards Vuyo Jodoba, recently took to Twitter to celebrate her accomplishment. One tweep congratulated her, but also asked her if Ben-Mazwi got her award. The actress jumped in, stating that till today, she has not been given the award.

“Questions that need answers sis. After you all voted for me, still zero award delivered,” Ben-Mazwi said.
