Sihle Ndaba Excited for Her New Acting Gig. She has been missed in the acting scene for some time now. The good news is that Sihle Ndaba is back with a bang, in a new cool show.
The talented actress has bagged a role in One Weeks, an upcoming family comedy. The storyline centres around Fana, a charming high-school dropout from the streets of Soweto. Fana can’t believe his luck when he finds himself dating Lihle, a successful lawyer. He then has to rely on the help of Lihle’s sharp-witted 10-year-old daughter, Angie, to avoid losing Lihle to rich men.
The talented Zakhele Mabasa-Mokone from Isibaya fame is cast as Fana. Sihle, plays the role of his love interest. Lihle respectively. Her onscreen daughter Angie, is played by Mangaliso Aluta Mthembu. Other cast members include the likes of Siphiwe Mtshali and Mpho Malatsi.
One Weeks premieres on Showmax from 22 July 2024, with new episodes every Monday.

One Weeks is created and written by actor, writer and producer, Chris Q Radebe. He believes the comedy not only taps into the wicked sense of humor that South Africans possess but also sheds light on the financial dynamics between partners in a relationship.
“South Africans love to laugh at themselves. For this particular show, the premise showcases how partners carry themselves in a relationship where the gender roles are reversed. Every broke guy sitting at a corner in the township aspires to date a successful woman, because they think only about the perks,” Chris said.
