Lasizwe Shares A Message of Gratitude As His YouTube Channel Hits 900k Subscribers
Lasizwe Shares A Message of Gratitude As His YouTube Channel Hits 900k Subscribers. Just a 100k subscribers short before hitting a million, now that’s a major achievement! This can only be Lasizwe, an individual who has used YouTube to make a sustainable living for himself.
The media personality and all-round entertainer launched his YouTube channel in January 2017. The channel is one of the favorites in the country and beyond, thanks to the content posted. In April 2019, Lasizwe received the silver play button from YouTube for reaching 100,000 subscribers. Among his many achievements was being among creators and artists from around the world who are the inaugural #YoutubeBlack Black Voices Fund class of 2021.
Sadly in January 2023, Lasizwe reached a point, where he decided to bid farewell to the channel. At the time, the channel was sitting at over 750k subscribers and 86,909,996 views. Lasizwe cited that in the past year he wasn’t really consistent, and didn’t give the channel his all. He added that he still wanted the channel to reach a million subscribers, so he was going to leave it active to grow until then. But he won’t be making new content for it.
Well, anyone is allowed to change their mind, depending on their circumstances, and so does Lasizwe. He has been posting content from his online shows such as Lasizwe and Lungile, as well as the much loved, Awkward Dates. This has seen the channel, grow, and it is now a little over 900k subscribers. Lasizwe has nothing but gratitude to everyone who has been riding with him.
“900 THOUSAND PEOPLE subscribed. Thank you so much to everyone who has walked this journey with me and witnessed the evolution of my YouTube Channel. I appreciate every single one of you and love you to bits! WE DID IT! 900K Subscribers! Thank you to my TEAM for always holding me down and most importantly, thank you to YOU for just consistently riding with me! (SWIPE to see the journey) The 3rd and Last Frame is the mood for this post,” Lasizwe said in gratitude.
