Anele Zondo Drops Track List From Her Latest EP. In 2021, Anele Zondo announced that she was venturing into music. She dropped her debut single “Ingwe” featuring Given Zulu, and the video hit the number 1 on Trace Africa Top 10 Chart. Ever since then, Anele has been taking the industry by storm with her talent.
The media personality, actress and musician is now back with another offering, Vuka. Meaning “Wake up” or “Awakening” in Zulu, this project isn’t just about songs, it’s about growth, pride, and artistic evolution. With the EP, Anele takes listeners on a personal journey. She has just dropped the track list, and it looks like she has been cooking a banger. One can look for tracks like Itching, featuring the talented rapper and songwriter, Maglera Doe Boy.

Anele has seven years in the industry under her belt. She first appeared on television in the recurring role of a receptionist in the second season of the Mzansi Magic drama series It’s Complicated. She then bagged a cameo role an episode of another Mzansi Magic drama, Saints and Sinners. Anele also showed her acting skills on the the 1Magic soapie The River.
In 2017, she auditioned for the MTV Base VJ Search, making it to the Top 10. Also in 2017, Anele began shadowing the two presenters of Massive Music, Lalla Hirayama and Smash Afrika, which led to her becoming a permanent presenter on the show. In 2020, Anele became the new host of the SABC1 reality competition series One Mic, replacing Bontle Modiselle.
